When I am in safe mode everything works just fine. Also, my computer works fine during a regular boot without any issues whatsoever if there is no Nvidia driver installed. After a hard shutdown, the computer will always turn back on again but it just keeps getting frozen at either the windows logo or the monitor will go inactive right after the windows logo and act as if it blue screened, but again, these issues only occur with the driver installed.
A hardshutdown can broke thing in windows as cache are not cleared and written to disk. For your driver, Like I said, wait a for a new driver. ManuelG said its very close so maybe this week who knows. You said this computer worked flawlessly before. What was the videocard driver used then?
Unfortunately I'm not sure which driver I used before all of this and neglected to take note of it. Also, I did experience a couple TDR's then also where I was told that Nvidia received a graphics error and recovered from it. One of the times this happened though, I didn't have a driver currently installed so I am not sure why that happened.
So maybe I will try your driver uninstaller tonight then install Good luck and keep me posted. System restore to right before that followed by me using the DVD with the drivers that came with my video card which contains driver version Reboot and error and will not get past the Windows logo again.
There is not a single driver that can be installed on this card anymore without it causing my computer to not be able to boot. This card is only 3 - 4 months old as well as every other piece in this computer. Try a fresh install with driver that came on dvd. If it work then most likely something is corrupting your systems. Could be your overclock or the Hard shutdown.
I've looked at your dump file its related to TDR. You should really remove the overclock, reinstall the os. I bet everything gona be ok then. If so, you can put your overclock again. This was a fresh install of the DVD driver. These issued starting happening before I started having to do a hard shutdown and I tried it without the overclock right after the fresh install of Windows. EDIT: I analyzed the. DMP file and I received this line: Probably caused by : nvlddmkm.
That's so unfortunate, the card is only 3 months old :. So then why would my card run flawlessly for so long before any of this happened?
