If, before deleting the Japanese editing language and fonts, you create a document containing Japanese text and manually mark the proofing language of the text in the document as Japanese, the Japanese proofing language setting remains even after you delete the editing language and fonts. After you delete Japanese as an enabled language, Japanese continues to be listed in the Languages dialog box as a proofing language.
In the Enabled editing languages list, click a language that you want to remove, and then click Remove. In Control Panel , type Fonts in the search box at the top right.
